Volunteering England is the national volunteer development agency for England and was formed in April 2004 as a result of the coming together of The Consortium on Opportunities for Volunteering, The National Centre for Volunteering and Volunteer Development England. It undertakes a range of activities which include working to secure and support an England-wide network of quality volunteer development agencies, promoting and enabling volunteering at a local level. Volunteering England works with Time Bank on a variety of projects including Volunteers' Week and the Year of the Volunteer 2005.
