How to become a mentor

You probably use technology pretty much every day – often without even thinking about it. For some people it’s a whole new world which can be scary to tackle on their own, and that's where our volunteers can help.

This project is now coming to an end and we are no longer looking for volunteers. But please do come back to the website for news of our latest mentoring projects.

We ask for a commitment of 3-4 months. This gives you plenty of time and flexibility to complete your 12 hours of mentoring.  Volunteering on Parents First is the perfect way to make a difference to someone else’s life and develop your own digital and communication skills. It'll also look great on your CV.
