Digitall

Digitall is a mentoring scheme running in Greater Manchester and London, matching 18-25 year old internet savvy volunteers (mentors) with over 45s (mentees) who want to get to grips with online (or digital) technology. Mentors and mentees meet one-to-one for an hour a week for between 6-12 weeks to unlock the Internet. This might include accessing online services, emailing, exploring social networks and using technology to search for job opportunities.

Young TimeBank

Young TimeBank inspires and empowers young people to take action in their communities, on their own terms, based upon their own concerns and ambitions. We provide the resources and support to help young people address issues that are important to them through school and community projects. These projects give young people opportunities to take control of issues that affect them and address them constructively, as well as enhancing their sense of self-worth, as individuals and as members of their communities.

Time Together

Time Together matches UK citizens in one-on-one mentoring relationships with refugees. Mentoring is one of the most effective ways of overcoming the difficulties and barriers faced by refugees in the UK. Mentors support, encourage, motivate and guide their mentee as they seek to achieve their goals in education, employment and integration.

Leaders Together

If you're a senior professional working in the voluntary sector, your experience and skills could be invaluable to a refugee leader running a community group. By becoming a mentor with the Leaders Together scheme, you could enable them to develop vital skills and forge links with essential mainstream services. Just 24 hours of your time, spread across 6 months, could increase their effectiveness and boost the impact of their organisation.

Back to Life

Back to Life is a near-to-peer mentoring scheme to support young men recovering from mental health problems, helping them to reach their full potential.Someone recovering from a mental illness may not have the support they need to regain their confidence and get on with their life. A trained volunteer mentor can give friendly and neutral advice in focusing on goals and taking steps to achieve them.

Get on Board is a joint campaign from TimeBank and the Charity Commission, to dispel myths around trusteeship, highlight the benefits and encourage more people to become trustees.
